Brady showed up an hour after I talked to Nicole on a Friday afternoon. He diagnosed the situation and explained it clearly to me quickly and provided an estimate. The job was done and looked great an hour later. Brady also provided advise as to how to clean up the mess caused by my leak and how to apply the suggested mold/mildew "stuff". Superb!

Been around the block a few times with plumbing/hvac guys. Terrible experience always.These guys are mom and pop owned, higher quality work, and way more affordable. Plus now you only need to call one company for HVAC or plumbing.Shout out to Nichole. Best secretary ever.

Great experience. They were able to come next day and swapped out our water heater anode. Tyrell was helpful, knowledgeable and great to work with. Would definitely consider reaching out again if other plumbing needs arise.

We have been using First American plumbing for years and always are very well taken care of. This company is honest and goes out of their way to provide a great service and they are careful to stay true to the bid they give you and not surprise you during the job being done. I highly recommend Matt and his crew for all plumbing needs.

They are quick on service if you’re under the gun they’ll be there to help but the pricing is a lot they charge me $3000 for a water heater. Also the toilet wasn’t seated all the way down. When they put the water heater in it was too close to the drain. Beware of Hunter Anderson, Level construction they all work together. They have no address and do not want to be known for people to come back at them their flooring people. They were paid for something they didn’t do and this is the only way through this review that other people will know about them couldn’t take them the small clams Court again couldn’t find them and again before you get any work done by first American plumbing check the prices. The top you should pay for a water heater is $2200.

1st American delivered as promised. They were prompt, friendly and did a great job installing (and cleaning up after). Jon was a pleasure to work with. This is the second time that we've used 1st American and they will be used again in the future. Highly recommended!

My experience with 1st American Plumbing has been phenomenal. I had an unexpected leak in my home on a Saturday evening and could not figure out what was causing it. I called 1st American Plumbing, and they immediately dispatched one of their technicians to my home. The technician was very knowledgeable, and was able to discover the source of the leak very quickly, which turned out to be a cracked pipe in my kitchen wall. He then took the time to consult with Matt, the company owner, and together they formulated the best plan of action to repair the leak without causing further damage to my home. The work they did on the repair was outstanding. They replaced all of the necessary pipes, joints, and fittings and completely fixed the leak. My overall plumbing now works much better than it did before the repair. They were very professional and respectful through the whole process, and their pricing was very fair. I found them to be a very ethical business to work with, and would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.Also, they are a company that cares about helping the community. I am heavily involved in an organization that serves Ukrainian refugees living here in Utah. After becoming acquainted with 1st American Plumbing with the work they did on my home plumbing repair, they expressed their desire to help our organization. They have been very supportive in finding ways to help us provide for these people. It is a testament to the character of the owners of the company, and shows that they truly put people first. I will include some photos of some of the families and projects they have supported us with.

There's a good reason this company is rated so well. I called and they scheduled someone for the very next day. Clear communication let me know when the tech was arriving. Jon has over 30 years of experience and it shows, not only in his professionalism (he wore booties while in my house), but in his knowledge and kindness. He told us what needed to be replaced, reminded me of a coupon ( Keep your mailers!), and was very transparent about cost. He fixed our shower and cleaned up the work area better than the last guys who were here (They left lots of caulk or silicone). I felt like the cost was very reasonable, for the work and time he was here. I would definitly recommend 1st American. Thank you!

The technician that installed my Bradford White 50-gallon water heater was Brady Austin. He arrived on time, was experienced and knowledgeable, and did a great job. Very happy with this top-of-the-line water heater at a reasonable price. Oh, and it replaced a Bradford White that had lasted 20 years.

Lance came today and fixed my shower today. Super professional and helpful…would still recommend these guys! They’ve been helping us with our plumbing for 8+ years now. Adam came and did the rough plumbing for our basement. He was super nice, very professional, and did a great job. The price for the job was also great. We will definitely have them come back for any other plumbing needs we have. Allison and Lance also came today and did a tune up on my HVAC system. They were professional and so nice and got my furnace up and running perfectly before the cold hits. American First heating and plumbing is awesome. I highly recommend them!

They were awesome. While finishing a basement I had an issue that I couldn’t handle and needed to be done asap. They were at my house in a couple hours. The tech was knowledgeable and friendly and got the issue fixed fast. The price was reasonable too. I would recommend them to anyone.

We are very pleased with every aspect of the job. I was very impressed with their attention to detail. They worked hard and finished ahead of schedule. The job was to repair a leak I. The water service line coming into our house. They dug a whole 6’ deep, by hand, big enough for a man to get in there and make the repair. When they were finished you could not tell in any way that they had dug such a large whole. All the landscape was put back in the place the way it was before they started. Even a small tree was restored perfectly. I live there, I could not tell any work of any kind had been done. Thank you Jon, and your associate, for a job very well done.Patrick

1st American was amazing. Despite running into unanticipateddrainage problems on my job they finished everything just as promised at no extra charge even though they had to come back with extra equipment. And their rates are much better than their competitors that I've used in the past. I highly recommend using this company.

I compared their price to a couple of other places and theirs was the best. After they finished the job I noticed a small leak later that night and gave them a call. They have 24/7 service and came out after hours to get the problem fixed free of charge. I would definitely recommend these guys!

Dealing with a water heater issue is never fun -- especially during the winter. However, I was extremely impressed with both Jon and Brady as they worked to resolve my problem and get me up and running again.Each technician went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of as quickly and efficiently as possible, and they even provided valuable information on how to increase the lifespan of my water heater and other pieces of equipment.Wearing booties as they entered showed a sign of respect for my home, and ensuring they parked their trucks in places on the street so as to not block my trash cans or mail box showed a level of thoughtfulness very few exhibit nowadays.I'm very grateful for the time and effort Jon and Brady put forth to help me. It's called customer service for a reason, and I truly believe that the individuals at 1st American Plumbing embody that perfectly.I also wanted to thank Christie and Nichole for all of their help in trying to get somebody out to my home as quickly as possible.It takes a good team to provide the level of service that I received, and 1st American Plumbing seems to have a pretty darn good one based on my experience.Thank you all gain for you help!

Update 11/10/23:Our water heater died and we had 1st American come diagnose the problem. They presented a few different options and gave a good overview of the pros and cons of each. We went with a tankless system and we’re very happy with the way the installation turned out. They did a great job routing the exhaust with minimum changes to our current ventilation setup. Once again, they did very good work, kept me well informed throughout the process, and cleaned up after themselves.Original review:Lance and Brent came out today when we found our drains were all clogged on one side of our house. They did a great job of isolating the problem and explaining the different options available for clearing the pipes. They got the blockage cleared and everything drains normally again. The process involved removing the toilet, but they put it back exactly as it was before and cleaned up nicely afterward.

Had a good experience with this company. Our hot water heater decided to break on a Sunday morning and they were available and able to help us out. Tyrell stayed and worked into the night to make sure our water was fixed the same day. We really appreciate the time and effort that he and Matt the owner put in.

We used 1st American for a tankless water heater install and went back to them because our AC unit lines kept freezing up. They came out and looked everything over gave us some suggestions on what to do to help out and prevent the freezing lines. I know some companies will come out and tell you they need to hook their gauges to check the coolant levels just to make money. They were up front and said there wasn't a leak and wouldn't need to hook up anything. Definitely will use them again.Update: We had a plumbing issue that was an emergency and they responded right away. Bradley came out and checked everything over and made some suggestions that were very helpful and fixed our problem.

Our AC went out this morning. I was given a reference by a friend, so I called in to make an appointment. I wasn't expecting to be seen the same day, but I was so very thankful that when I called in Nicole said there was an appointment available between 1-3 PM. Lance and Allison showed up as promised between 1-3 PM. They both were very knowledgeable, helpful and quick to diagnose and repair. I will use 1st American again and would recommend them to all my friends!
